The publication tells the story of the development of the Swedish policy for the control of narcotic drugs, since the first regulation on the sale of opium and cocaine in 1907. || The book provides a comprehensive historical overview of Swedish attempts to stem illicit drug traffic and to limit drug use and trade to purely medical and scientific purposes, as regulated by the relevant UN Conventions.
